About Me

I am a third year graduate student at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa Institute for Astronomy working with Dr. Xudong Sun. My research interests include (but are not limited to) eruptive stellar magnetic fields, flares and coronal mass ejections, and the solar-stellar connection. Prior to my graduate work, I was a research associate with Dr. Sanjiv Tiwari at the Lockheed Martin Solar and Astrophysics Lab and I received my B.S. in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Washington. In my free time I enjoy rock climbing, drawing, and eating copious amounts of mac and cheese.
